Didn't know it was just Phase 1. Been after one for ages, I had one in my last car (P1), was a good little hole for stashing things. Cheers anyway

Hi there,
Headlight - £40 delivered
Splitter for it?
Parcel shelf needs re-tensioning which isn't hard but needs a good clean £15 delivered.

Is this V40 setting a forum record for the most cars it ends up donating parts to?

Antz, could I ask you to have a look underneath and take a photo of the catalytic converter if not already sold? I may need it, not sure yet (do you know if it passed emissions last time it was MOT'd?)

Im rather surprised how quick its gone. I think another week and Ill probably weigh the shell in because the suspension is all knackered, brakes seized and theres only a few engine and trim bits left apart from the main bits listed above.

The cars last MOT ran out in early 2013 and its been stood since then (explains the seized brakes). It passed fine then and hasn't done many miles since.

I can take a look at the cat for you when Im next at the car. Otherwise I was going to chop it out and weigh it in separately as they make good money

I figured the cat might be something you'd rather dispose of locally - dont worry about it if its trouble mate

I would like to see a pic of this car after you've finished stripping it though - it'd make a great contrast to the first pics. I figure its going so fast because in your first pics, it looked so good - I dont know about anyone else but my instinctive reaction was 'that looks great - what has it got that I need?"

I'll get some pics when I'm done.

Anyone else for bits? Starting to filter stuff onto ebay now.

Won't be about much longer. If I can get my way, it'll be going for scrap on Saturday morning!
