V40 Check engine light & not starting
Hi All,
2014 V40 Cross Country D2 Automatic. The check engine light has appeared and car won't start, it also shows 'low battery', but I have now replaced the battery (it was due anyway). I have cleared the BMS, but still showing low battery. The only fault code(s) appearing is: 'Left (& right) front wheel speed sensor. General electrical failures. Circuit short to battery or open.' Has anyone encountered the same, suspecting it's back at a control module rather than each wheel sensor, given that both codes appeared at the same time. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks. |

So, in the end it was the starter. All codes cleared after new starter fitted, back up and running.
An odd one..... but there you go! |
