P0004 code "Fuel Volume Regulator" after fuel filter change
I changed the fuel filter yesterday, and managed to prime the system and start the car eventually. The next day I put £30 of diesel in and it cut out down the road with the following OBD II code:
P0004 "Fuel Volume Regulator Control Circuit High", and the dash said Engine service required. I kept turning the starter over and got the car started and the dash message is gone but the OBD p0004 code is still there. Was it a temporary fuel pressure fault? |

This was a temporary error after changing the fuel filter.
