Default 2.0 diesel issues

Was hoping someone could help me with a couple of issues with my v50….

Engine is a D4204T 2.0d PSA engine with the dpf.. Wasn’t sure if anyone knew how to set the actuator on the turbo or the procedure on how to? Cant find any information on what they need to be set to or even how to. Under full throttle the car seems to pull then die off then pull again then die off etc. I can only explain the power to be “wavey. ”Car drives fine under any other scenario. I get no smoke or poor economy. Ive also changed both turbo vac solenoids for new genuine parts.

I also over the period of 7/8 thousand miles notice the oil level increase. Not a huge amount. Last service i added in exactly 4.6l and drained out 5l. Ive read various things that volvo sent out a service bulletin saying to only fill up to half way on the dipstick because of this and that its “normal” to a certain degree. Just not sure if anyone has gotten to the bottom of why it does it?

Thanks

Hi,

Yeah ive reset the service light if thats what you mean when i changed the oil and filter? Car also has had a dpf delete (apparently) and a new turbo when i bought it. The actuator was pre set on the turbo and locktited in place and the “adjustment was pre set”. However i dont believe its right and cant find the procedure to check the adjustment.
