Default Engine mount

Morning ladies and gents, I have my MOT due next month. Iv been having a few bits of work carried out over past few days. One of the things I need to replace is the rear engine mount/stabiliser? When I set off at speed my exhaust hits the tunnel under the gear stick. My mechanic had looked at it and said it's the rear stabiliser. Now I'm not sure of the name of what it is I need. Iv Googled all sorts and nothing is showing the thing I need. It's the black bit(highlighted) that bolts onto the subframe so I'm told not the bit the bolts on to the engine. I got a picture of it as best I could. Any ideas?

Lower engine mount, rear transmission mount, torque mount .. ect.

They look like this now as they have been upgraded: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VOLVO-S40-...-/281123763760

Nevertheless, and I never thought I'd say this but, Ford have come up with a more decent and more durable replacement, search> CM5Z-6068-A

Yup .. that's the one!

I'll be ordering one too, chip tunned the 2.0D recently, "Bluespark automotive", and I could use some extra stiffness to handle the gained torque.

massive but rubber-bandish .. at least they say.

If, after pulling out hard, you find that gear changes are not so smooth or a bit clunky, i.e. 1st to 2nd or 2nd to 3rd then you may need this insert>
Poweflex (PFF19-1220) Lower Engine Mount Insert
