I wasnt ignoring your pm fella i cant reply as i have less than 30 posts, the company i used was called SLT Remapping here in sheffield.

He did the dpf delete and map on the car but to cut a long story short he didnt do it properly and the car ended up in permanent limp mode due to 2 dpf errors, yeah funny that as there was no dpf in the system,he was blaming the pressure sensor near the battery saying i need a new one.

He also says he had to take the ecu out of the car to mod it as you cant map them via the obd port,i now know this is a load of crap and it SHOULD be done via the port.

As already said its a long story and i`ll just tell you that i DO NOT recomend him as the website is very missleading and so is the info on it,hes just a one man band in a unit on a backstreet and i wish i had gone to shark performance now,but i didnt know any better then but i sure do now.

I just hope my car doesnt develop any kind of serious issues due to the poor service i recieved and obvious lack of experience and knowledge he has shown.

in short...SLT Remapping = NOT RECOMENDED

Thank you very much young 'un for the heads up.

I'm genuinely sorry that you you did not receive a decent service from this joker.

You have certainly saved me a great deal of grief.

I was considering them for the same reason you did, namely being local.

The web site, as you say is quite good, the alarm bells should have rung when no prices were listed.

I would thoroughly recommend Shark, they remapped my V70 T5 last year and gave me exactly what I asked for. Bags of torque. And a few more m.p.g.

I need to sort the front wish bone bushes in the next couple of weeks, we've just had 4 new tyres fitted. And a noisey rear wheel bearing.

Thank you once again, I hope you are sorted soon.

No worries mate. Our V50 with the Shark map continues to please. Urban running is giving 49 mpg (calculated tank to tank).

I still haven't fitted the wishbone bushes.....
