Rained yesterday and again nothing... I can't really park the car on my drive in any different orientations apart from facing in, or facing out and it's pretty flat so doubt they'd be any change. It's not a big deal just a bit annoying at the moment.

best not to try a pressure washer for finding leaking seals, the clean up extends from isle 3 ,, to 4,5,6 and 7,,, esp when its a boot seal your testing,,,

Chances are you may only find it with a pressure washer. When both of mine went it took either biblical rain or washing with a pressure washer before the A-pillar showed any watermarks. Any less than that and it will just drop down the inside of the pillar and you're none the wiser as to whether or no it's leaking.
TBH if you push the top left corner of the screen up from the inside and it flexes you know the bond has failed.

Hi,
I believe the best way to check for a cabin leak is with smoke. You can get smoke pellets for £5 at Toolstation et al that work really well and don't taint the car. If you can borrow a smoke generator, all the better. My friend's 2010 V50 suffered an 'unbonded' windscreen recently. She spoke nicely to Volvo, who acknowledged it was a common fault, and they removed and refitted it for free out of goodwill. You don't need a new screen if it's intact. BR, Rich. |

I was told the same but they damaged the top rubber strip on removal and all that goodwill vanished. It all became my responsibility to pay for a new screen.
