Default Anyone with Zero Issues with their SPA Volvo

It fascinates me with the type of issues Volvo owners experience even from the first day they picked up their car. Are there any owners out there who visit this forum who have had a trouble-free first 12 months of their ownership? New or Used.

It will be a positive feeling for a change to hear someone actually say "Yes my Volvo is so reliable!"

16K kms in 7 months - zero issues here. My old V60 was rock solid - but my SPA XC60 seems even better.

Self selecting group, most people with a car that just works won’t sign up to a forum.

Driven 16 months in a 2017 XC90 from new.

No mechanical issues. No interior issues. No exterior issues. No electrical issues. No Volvo App issues. No warranty work. No replacement parts. Just 1 visit to the dealer for the annual service. Just works.

Or in Autotrader speak..... "One owner. Starts every time. Reliable runner."

* Spotify app - occasionally hangs the odd time but in the grand scheme of things, it's small beer.

Clan.....Ive a rattly glovebox lid on rough roads, is there a known fix for this I could do myself to save a trip to the dealers?

There are no other trim noises so it gets on my goat!

A touch of the lid and it goes away, tried emptying it and also leaving water bottles in it to add weight, but its much the same.

5000 miles - no actual technical problems at all - touch wood (though it doesnt have any word...)

I don't think so , but a piece of felt self adhesive tape positioned where the lid contacts the box is the usual way to fix this type of thing .. there should be some tension on the catch when fully shut , can you see any rubber stops where the lid presses against the box itself ?

10 months into this one and no issues whatsoever - very impressed with the quality of the whole car.

Thanks, there are 3 rubber snubbers it closes on to, hard to tell if the catch is under tension though, but I think the sound is coming more from the bottom (hinge) than the lid.

I will try some felt tape myself, so its packed slightly against the lid many thanks.
