Some of the early GLT estates had 14" alloy multi spoke wheels.

They must have looked very small, I think the 15"s look too small for the car!

I would agree 16" Galaxy alloys look very nice or I still like the the 15" GLT alloy.

I think they would look spot on and original on your 265. That would be a good choice also for showing the car.

Dont know what they are called but I know of some very similar (and in my opinion nicer) wheels called sunbursts. They dont have centre caps so you see the chrome nuts and chrome centre cap. Every so often, if you look carefully - 2 consecutive spokes go further into the centre of the wheel aswell.

These are exactly the same as mine, which I thought were Corona's.

However having seen that piccie from '16 yr with a 1980 244' with the wheels without the cover on the nuts it maybe those that are Coronas?

Mine are 14", which is stnadard on my model, not sure if 265s had 14" or 15" as standard.
