I was only kidding, no idea they were £80!. That’s just crazy money, are you sure that’s the right price?

No offence taken - it was only when I found out the price that I became more bothered by it - they are actually £79.99

Just a quick update in case anyone is searching for this topic in the future - volvo wouldnt replace the caps under warranty as apparently the colour has flaked off due to outside influence ie the salt on the roads - and thats not covered !!

Obviously you're not meant to leave them on the wheels, (for display purposes only).

That is pretty poor though, I have to say, they are basically admitting that they aren't fit for purpose, if they can't withstand being 'used'. Is the rest of the car suitable for exterior use ?

You can save a couple of quid on ebay, if you're planning on replacing.

around £65 for 'genuine'

Or £3.99 for something similar.

Interesting, I dont have a Polestar but if i did i know which ones I would be buying, particularly with the reported ‘flakiness’ of the £70 ones!!!

I have some Amazon ones in my back pocket now but based on this You Tube video its not an uncommon problem on Polestar 2's either:
