I have seen when searching for the bush on ebay that for an extra £20 it is possible to buy the entire mount with the uprated square bush. See here https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/284506416...YAAMXQ3kRQ8BBU

Does anyone have any view on these?
That is the same as my C70, Volvo obviously uprated the bush for a reason. A 10 minute job to swap and just a spanner and socket wrench needed.

Hi Alpine

For your 1998 I am pretty sure that that later mount will not fit. Do you have holes to take 4 vertical bolts to bolt the mount down onto the top of the engine? Probably not.

That later mount (part number 30680770) (which as you guessed is easy to fit) is for later cars:

Fits my P1 2000 V70. Easy to fit. If the top one is bad check the lower one as well. Also easy to replace.

Just done this on a TDi and experienced the same issues as described about. Many combinations of sockets, pulleys, threaded bar etc, was a PITA but I got it in.

I also have a powerflex bush to suit a T5, should fit all white blocks I would say, if anyone is interested. Fitted in bracket.
