Default 2006 Headlights

It’s getting increasingly difficult to polish mine up well enough to pass the MOT.

Anybody breaking a car or have a set they don’t need. Obviously they need to be clean and clear or I may as well keep what I’ve got!!!

Cheers

Shame that you are not near me, i could have refurbed them for you, if you know a spray painter they could sand them and laquer them to make them clear again, search on you tube to see how its done, did my cousins a few weeks ago, look like new now and will last years.

Hey Darlo,

I can get the outsides up quite well but they are 'crazed' on the inside too. Do you know if the lens can be removed and restored inside and out?

Cheers

Not sure about the insides but they can be taken apart, you'll need to heat up where they are bonded together, youtube should have a guide on doing this. You could always buy a set that are faded and get them refurbed, it aint difficult and there are plenty of "how to's" on youtube for refurbing using 2k laquer method, the Gunman and Paint Society are the two i watch the most and referred to when i did my cousins ford fiesta headlights, i suspect this is the best way to go forward. This is one of the lights i did.
