Whether it will be any better I doubt, and in any case, with other voice controls like Alexa for example, I have difficulty in remembering the exact words to use.

Well, it has been 2 years since the last update, so I hope they added few more words 😀

Has anyone here actually done the voice training? Usually it works pretty well as standard , but if you have difficulties give it a go .

I am not sure if there is an option of voice training on the SPA cars. It was definitely there with the pre SPA cars. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Strange, I downloaded this but when I plugged in the USB to update I got a message saying that the car already had a later version installed.
Must have been updated when I had a service some 6 weeks ago.

Exactly the same here… although my car was new from the dealership 10 days ago. They didn’t deliver with the 11/11 release of the UK maps (I installed that when I got home) so I was surprised that this message appeared for this voice update dated 26/11 …

I used the Mac downloader to make the USB but assume the result should be the same as using the Windows downloader.

I have had the exact same message today when trying to update my S90. I have not visited a dealer as yet, so the last known dealer involvement with my car must have been the PDI around August this year.

I used the windows installer.

Seems a bit strange.

Can I ask how you fownloaded it yourself to update please, I thought you could only do this eith the maps. Thanks
