Mine came with purple already set.
I didnt know you could even change it.
Thinking about it, I cant see it making much of a difference if I did bother changing it.
I am wondering.
If the light were to ever go out, would I notice?

I find this the most pointless feature ever.

My last few cars have changed all the cabin lights to the colour I select to set the ambience. Whereas this just changes the colour os a tiny light on the bottom of the mirror.

Or am I missing something?

Purple for me. I would like to see on the new models (at least as an option) the mood lighting following the dash trim or door trim like it does in the XC90

I had a 2015 Mondeo on hire a few years back with this and it made for pleasant driving at night.

I had a Ford Edge years ago in the US as a hire car and it had lights around the trim and panels inside and you could choose almost any colour known to man for them. Worked really well.

It’s pretty poor compared to a Merc. When I bought my R Design with mood and theatre lights I have to admit I was slightly disappointed.

So their interior lights around the car can change colour?

Purple.

It's disappointing, but I'd rather have it than not.

It does shine a nice dim colour of purple on my big knobs.

In comparison to some cars, the Volvo is lit up very well.

I feel like David Blunket in any other.

The light intensity and overall lack of spread is pretty disappointing, but I use Purple anyway. My wife's not impressed as she gets cycling through all the colours with the disco lighting in her MINI.
