so maybe i wont bother with the mapping then if yours is the same

far as I've read/heard it's really more of a change up the top end of the revs anyway, so fast overtakes on motorways, but other than that not really a lot different. I'll just get more of a run-up

also.. judging by last week either I was toeing it too much or texaco isn't very good either at the moment. it's definitely possible i was just being heavy footed though so don't take that as gospel

Mine is a 2004 2.3 T5 250BHP - current readout average 23.5mpg hasn't been reset since the MOT February 2021, last year, mileage total 679miles most of it short mileage roundtrips - most less than 6 miles and sub 30mph. Last year's longest journey was only a 95mile round trip when it achieved an average 37mpg, calculated from full tank to top up on journey end!

Best ever was my old, now sold, 2001 V70 2.4 20V Torslanda which achieved around 47mpg on a 760mile one day round trip, when it had just shy of 200k miles on the clock, much of it motorway but average speed recorded as 57mph!
