Default 2015 S80 D5 Auto throttle power loss on hills

My 2015 S80 Auto has developed a strange feeling in the throttle...When driving along the road at say 55mph when i his the same gradiaunt every day i feel like power loss and to maintain the 55mpg i have to press the throttle down until i feel power again..... Car has loads of power tho.... This is more apparent if pulling my trailer........ If i slip tht car across into S mode at that point, no loss of power in this mode... Also if i was in cruise control on the same area of the road, will maintain the speed of 55mph Anyone help on the issue..

A longshot and by no means the cause, but when did you last have the gearbox oil changed? Do you tow frequently? The oil degraded in my gearbox and caused similar issues.

A dirty fuel filter can also cause power delivery issues. The sport mode thing could be a red herring

Hi, does the loss of power always happen at a specific speed?? I had a fault with my EGR valve sticking causing intermittent power loss, as the the soot from the diesel was causing the valve to stick and screw up the performance. I assume it’s a diesel you have as you have the D5 model..
