The only bad thing about the engine is the Ballance shaft and the rocker cover gaskets leaking... They sound cracking and do fairly shift..... I've had a few Subaru's ect and I'm sure they would keep up with some of them.

I have not had mine long enough on LPG to see difference.

Can't comment on the XC90 fuel economy but my S80 V8 gets around the low twenties if you keep your foot lightly on the go peddle.

Trouble is the engine sounds so glorious that the temptation to floor it is great and when it's singing full bore foot to the floor I give up on MPG and just go with SPG.. Smiles Per Gallon which are almost limitless!

Later V8s like in the S80 had the kinks ironed out and even though my head tells me the T6 is slightly quicker it just does not have the V8 howl..

Buy one, bring the thunder but you will be filling it often.. and atm that's not cheap!
