Probably the best source for photos of EFI equipment is an original 1972 owner's manual. An original will have high quality phtotos. If you don't have the original manual you can find .pdf versions on the web; but, sometimes the quality of the scans is por.
Another good source is the official 142 service manual for 1972 - what people call the green books. About 15 years ago you could still purchase brand new re issues of the service manual. I don't know whether new versions are still available; but, you can probably find used versions on EBay or scanned versions on different Volvo web sites. The pictures in the original service manual are 'serviceable'; but, not of the same quality as the owner's manual. The Haynes 142 service manual may be of some use; but, the photos in that manual are quite grainy, in part because some of them appear to be 1972 reproductions of photos from the original Volvo service manual |

https://www.gcp.se/en/catalogues/
Go to where this link takes you and open up the appropriate catalogue. You should be able to find drawings of what you're looking for. It might also help to go to Volvotips.com first and using their scanned version of the same catalogue to find the page(s) you need since they have a directory that's not available on the GCP site, though their scanned version doesn't have good copies of the drawings. |
