Ian, you missed a trick mate, look here:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VOLVO-940-...item2a16c6b70c ...You could have weighed the car in and if the wheels were not to your taste, try and sell them on here for £800 |

Yep, looks like I did - think I'd only have needed to sell the wheels and the boot spoiler and I could have paid my mortgage off!!

They are 16" mate. If you are interested I hope you have plenty of spare cash.... or some gold bullion.... or maybe a 5 carat diamond...

Galaxies are 16x7.
Itll be interesting to see what these make on eBay but I really doubt they will make above £250-300 max especially when you can usually get a full Volvo 940 for free attached to the wheels for that off eBay. |

Which is exactly what this seller has done.

Firstly I am not the one getting upset here, it appears that Ian2000t is the one getting upset because I am not prepared to give them to him on the cheap. Ian, please do us all a favour and be sensible. You know full well we had a bit of banter about the number of ££ and I said it would need to be £££. At no point did I suggest it would be ££££.
I found an old topic about the galaxies that smithy actually sold and they were not perfect... perhaps that was a different set he had I don't know, but either way there is no need for your childish comments, they are unnecessary. I sold a cam to monkeh for £25 posted and an ignition switch to somebody for £15 posted....... this is not ripping people off. I may get my prices too high at times, but if I have something for sale surely it is my perogative to decide how much to accept?. Monkeh offered me some extra money for the postage it cost me but I turned him down!!!! why would I do that if I wanted to rip everybody off? I will be putting this set on ebay shortly as I said earlier in the topic and they will sell to the highest bidder. Apologies if anybody feels I should have just set a price......next time I will do just that before putting stuff on ebay |

Good luck with them on eBay. They will sell without a doubt as they are a very popular wheel but it just depends on who wants them and how badly they want them. Although Christmas time is never a good time to sell anything with people too busy panic buying out ASDA for the 24hours it shut and emptying Toys'R'Us for every toy on the market. Good luck with them on eBay |

Now THEY are a nice set of Galaxies!
I'm not "getting upset" here - I just feel you have been messing me and many others on this forum around dangling these wheels like a kid with a new toy lol! Yes, you said £££ not ££ or ££££ - but sorry I didn't realise that ££=£200, ££££=£3000 and £££=well, who knows what you were hoping to get still. For the record £200 was my opening offer - quite happy to offer a little more if necessary, but I'm not going to be offering £500 for a set of wheels you paid £480 for with a free car that you've already made £200+ on. As I've said before, I would have bought the car if I wanted them that badly!

thankyou, I agree they are in excellent condition and a great colour choice... If you paid less the £300 I would say you got a bargain, they are going on the 255 correct? That should make a fine car. If my set don't do that well then I will be the first to admit I was wrong, rest assured
