Progressing nicely (much faster than I ever was). The Torq Thrusts do work nicely on an Amazon. I just can't get my head past the name. I keep on coming up with these mental images of some exotic / pole dancer named Miss Torq-Thrust. There actually was a version of the wheel called the Torq Thrust MS.
Mini light, Panasport, ATS, BBS - no mental image problem there! |

Been away this week for work so not much done. Fitted the sound deadening today. Will give all the inside a coat of epoxy next and then on with body colour.

Got the colour on today, after all that only the two wee sections under the windows are actually seen. Flat down the engine bay and redo the topcoat is the next job.

The thing I was really worried about was getting paint in underneath the headliner but I couldn’t take off the masking until the paint was touch dry so I went home so I wouldn’t be tempted. Just been back and so pleased all is good. I want to keep the original headliner, it needs a good clean but it‘s part of the car’s story.

I procrastinated a bit on this part of the project as I thought I would have a issue with getting paint on the headliner, a bit of masking tape even looked like it had lifted so was worried and just had to go check it today or otherwise I wouldn’t stop thinking about it.
