Hi,

I have been told nothing but bad things about NGK.

Conversely I always use NGK plugs and never had a problem. On any make of plug I'd always check the gap just to be sure,it doesn't take more than a few seconds[for all four]and isn't exactly hard work.

There are fakes about. Fell foul of a Chink fake in my MZ.

Spark plugs, a bit like the best oil debate:~
------------------------------ " --------------------------

I use NGK & Volvo in my 1988 240: no difference whatsoever- I also check the gaps to make sure the setting is correct.

NGK also used in my 70 year old Riley to include the spark plug caps, outperform many other brands.
Bob.

Original Volvo plugs made by Bosch and very good
Bosch plugs I have had loads of issues with and will never fit a bosch branded plug again. (they still make great sensors etc)
NGK are my go to plug and probably the best plugs on the market
Champion, never managed to get a volvo engine to run on all cylinders with them
Denso, had great results with them
Beru, used a few times and have been ok

MZ's are diesels, no spark plugs.
