Also - V60/V90 will achieve more than 25mpg around town I'm sure, so your tipping point may be reduced.

I think this is about spot on. I reckoned, when I was paying about 12.5p per unit that electric driving cost about a quarter the cost of petrol driving, which would give the breakeven at about 50p per unit which is pretty much the same as the above.
