Unhappy Idling issue

I have a V40 2001 model. 2L auto, with 150 000km on the clock. Suddenly recently when the car is normal opperating temp, starts to have a rough idle, almost like a miss. I switch car off and start immediately and it coninues to sound funny and idles rough. If I put the car off for about 5 min then the idling is normal again when i switch it on.
Its only recently its doen this. I have cleaned the throttle body and idling control valve. I have also replaced the spark plugs. Please help.

I have thought of replacing the fuel pressure regulator. It is very possible that could be the problem. I will post my finding as soon ad i have done so.

I have replaced the fuel pressure regulator and all idling, starting, etc issues have now come to an end. She idles smoother than she ever has and she starts within 2 seconds.

That's great news HarryS. Mine's the same car as yours with 100k miles and I'm about to change the FPR too (it's on order) as mine takes too long to crank up before firing. Was it an easy job? Any tips?
