Hello guys and girls,
Been a while... I've upgraded my trusty old 2005 S40 to a 2014 V40 and was wondering how easy it would be to transplant the bumper from an R-Design to my ES? To answer the obvious question, "why didn't you just get an R-Design?" is straightforward; it's a car that's been in my family and has come my way a far, far less than the cheapest R-Design I've been able to find on eBay/AutoTrader/Volvo Selekt and it's not even brushed 28,000 miles. And it has sat nav. I'm always getting lost. Anywho, is it a matter of removing (clips/screws/magic) the original bumper and wiring for the DRLs and fitting the sexy R-Design front? Thanks in advance - if my plan comes to something, I'll post pictures. If not, then I've failed at life. ![]() J ![]() |

Not a V40 I know, but somebody in here turned an SE V60 into an R Design V60, changing the bumpers and exhausts and did a thread.
