Default is it common for V70 AWD turbos to have a blank plate

Is it common place for V70 AWD's from 98-2000 to come with the id plate on the turbo to be blank or with just a part number ? Unlike 850 turbos that have colour coded plate ie orange 15g, green 16T ? My local salvage yard has 4 AWD's with the same thing all the turbo id plates are blanked [They don't even appear to have been scrapped off by previous owners they look genuinely blanked

They are all TD04-13G unless they are R models, then they are 16T,18T or 19T depending on age

Can you upgrade the turbo to a 16/19 from a 13 on these LPT cars , does it make a difference performance and where might be the best source to get em..scrappies? Im happy to have a go at rebuilding/refurbishing the inner bits from an older one and replacing but not sure if its a viable option as fittings to engine might be incompatible?
cheers
