Yeah, it was super smooth and I love the burble from that big V8.

They're not super fast by todays standards, but quick enough for a big car.

He had the arches replaced, as well as the front wings and tailgate and other bits, but it was back again within two years.

I used to have a 3500 V8 P6, when I was 15!

Never drove it on the road, obviously.

Down side was everything was brown and beige.

I never had it registered in my name, so don't list it in my cars that I owned, same goes for my beetle too.

My brother owned a brand new 75, back in 2000.

People thought it was a Jag, as they were so new at the time.

After two years, a couple of sensors went and the car died on the motorway.

Brakes, steering and lights all went along with the engine dying.

He hated it after that.

No HG failure, Kieran.

Just a pair of failed sensors, causing the engine to instantly cut out, leaving him with no lights, steering or brakes.

It was supposedly a common fault, but not common enough to hold the parts in stock, so he had to leave the car with Rover for weeks, until the parts arrived.

Another guy at his work had the same issue, a few years later, but he had to wait for almost six months for his to get repaired! Rover were providing him with a courtesy car, so he didn't care, as his car wasn't clocking up any mileage!
