Smile manual version?

As mentioned, the car doesnt lock it until maybe 10mins after the remote is operated, one thing you can do is manually move the plunger from inside the boot, feel for a bar like plastic piece and slide it frontward or rearward, if the motor isnt working, it should stay wherever you put it.. then no worries about if its locked or not..or unplug the cable to be sure, for the full manual operation!

That was the conclusion I came to....they often have an anti-syphon 'screen' in the neck to stop a hose going in there. You'd probably have to cut the line under the car to get at the fuel and seeing as your average thieving scrote is also a bone-idle c**t it's probably going to be too much like hard work......rant over, excuse my French. However, it does stop idiots from filling your tank with sugar/ water/ insert something unpleaseant here.....

Not that hard to do you can even drive the lock using a 12V supply for testing, I found running the motor on its own for a few mins also helped.

I've followed this video by SiRobb and it worked really well. Sorted my petrol locking fuel flap, after the 1/2 hour of work and of course the delay to lock of 10 mins or so.

I'd suggest bookmaking/subscribing to SiRobb as he'll save you some pennies and he is worth a few pints as a "Thank You".

I did also by a locking fuel cap, as the o-ring/seal on the old one had gone, so I just spent a few more pennies omn the lockable one
