When trying to reprogram im doing as follows:

Get in close door, turn ign on-off five times leaving it on on the 5th = nothing happens

When i lock the car i shut door turn key anti clockwise then a touch more so as the dead lock , the little red dash led then lights for about 2sec`s then flashes at about a sec apart.

Thanks for taking the time to help me with this Jod , i owe you one

Yeah..., that fob is a volvoguard fob and as far as i know certainly will not be compatable with your relay...

I have spoken to Simon and he is fairly sure the unit is compatable with fob part 684 9011, tho Vadis is not clear on this...

This link should be of interest to you.. http://www.volvoclub.org.uk/tech/ser...heftSystem.pdf

I think you are best off getting a new one from a dealer as im not sure this type is self programable..Also if they get one in and cant get it to work then thats tough on them...

Guess between £30 and £50...? ish lol
Not got a scooby TBH...
The is a Central Locking and fob combination for sale on Ebay..
The later models certainly worked between Fob and Alarm Relay, however it may be that the older ones between the Fob and Central locking relay...maybe something to ask the dealer and if it is the case buy the ebay one...

Cheers
