850 (Estate) 1994 2.0l Auto.120k miles, manual sun roof
I have decided that its not worth trying to repair it as there is a question mark over the availability of rings once the correct ones are identified from the pistons so am wondering is anyone interested in it. I would imagine that its for breaking really.
The engine issues ( mainly oil being blown out, but not burning), as well as other issues are documented under my other posts. I am collecting from garage later so will post some pics. ( its identical in look and colour to the one advertised by Steve Curtis here, but rere spoiler is gone.] I used it for years as a builders van so the interior is not in pristine condition. The driver seat has no electric heating, the rear window heating element is not working, the fuse across the rheostat on the 3 speed part of the fan failed again after I replaced it with one off fleabay. Drivers door fully open restraint on last legs. The air directional control dial is stuck, stops at 11 going clockwise, and at 2pm going anti clockwise. The cat converter has been removed as it was clogged with oil. The good bits Haynes manual Owners manual Alloys New off market rams for boot lid. It drives fine so if nobody wants it here I will drive it to the UK and 'trade it in' against a secondhand volvo before the tax runs out in May with one of the Volvo breakers. I have been offered a few by a guy who breaks Volvos but need max two litre and auto is a must have. Will consider a saloon and smaller engine an S40 would work fine. |

You could try this car for engine swap? Seems cheap.
