This is one of the last of the classic V70s which we have owned for six years. It has covered about 140,000 miles and has a full service history from new – until 2010 from the original supplying main dealer and then a Volvo specialist. The Electronic Throttle Module was replaced by Volvo in 2010.

This has all the features of the SE including leather seats (heated front and rear) air conditioning and wood trim dash. Everything works except the headlight wipers. It has a Witter tow bar with double electrics but we haven’t used it for towing during our ownership.

The car is in very good condition for its age both inside and out, has good tyres and is MOT’d until July. There is the odd car park ding and some scratches on the rear bumper but this does not detract from the metallic red bodywork. Everything works except the headlight wipers.

The car has been very reliable and completed a trip over the Alps to Northern Italy last summer. We are only selling as we had to buy a wheelchair adapted vehicle to transport a family member.
