Baby Seats For v50

Hi Is it possible to fit three baby seat in the back of a 2005 V50.If so could you tell me the make.Regards Ron

Define Baby seats.... Are we talking booster seat types here? Or are they baby carriers?

Hi Posting this on behalf of my son, Twins 18 months old and a 5 years old boy.Things have changed since my children had baby seats.That was 38 years ago.Regards Ron

A guy I know has a Merc 320d estate with three children in the back.
What he found was that if there was an emergency he would have trouble getting the middle (older) one out in a hurry. As your car is smaller you might have bigger problems fitting them in safely.
He has now bought a people carrier with the eight seats and is selling the car.

I think you'd struggle. We've got a baby carrier and car seat for a 3 yr old. There wouldn't be enough room in the middle for another seat. Might be if you managed to get really small car seats, but the majority of them take up more room than the seat itself, thereby restricting you to two.

I can get 2 child seats and a booster across the rear seat but I also use seat belt extenders so the children can be easily strapped in. I've never tried three full child seats though.

No chance. Seats are too narrow. With 2 baby or child seats you can't get anything in the middle seat (Bar their teddy bears, looking squashed).

Seat belt extenders are viewed by many as bad form. Few are type approved and most safety boards or industry experts seem to say don't touch them.

Long and short of it is, if you need 3 child seats with 2 adults you need a bigger car.
