morning good people

happy new year to you all.

right just a quick question..

is it possible to swap the ecu from my current car for another ecu..?

my car 2001 2.4t 200bhp

proposed swap 2000 2.3t5 300bhp

hassle.? possible.?

By ECU do you mean the ECM engine control module? I believe that's about the only part that can't be swapped on these cars.

I was looking at purchasing a chipped ecu from a ex-plod car its from p2 2.3 t5 x plate car

Is the doner car manual or auto?

Cos the two ecus are different and few ex plods are auto

You can get the mapped ecu coded to your car by a company called Shark performance up North somewhere,they used to charge £80ish,and will do it by post if needed
