I have xc60 summum 2017. It has navi but when I open it it doesn't show maps but only the pointer. What should I do?

I would just update the system with a usb stick from volvo.com. free. I did this recently for sensus.

What model of XC60 is it? They didn't all come with navigation...

It has navi. The dealer told me that it needs activation at a cost of €1200

Does it have a NAV button on the centre stack? if not you don't have Navigation , it will need a chargeable software and the NAV button fitting..

That price sounds like a full install to a car without Nav.

If the car had factory Nav it would show maps even if old original ones.
