Should xenons go up and down on start up ?

Hi

When you turn the ignition on, should the xenons go up and down like on other cars ?

My 2007 doesn't and when I got the car I had to manually adjust the lights with the White screws as the lights were low. I remember one of the lights I had to raise to the top of the adjuster travel.

I'm worried maybe a angle sensor is broken ?
The car is going to a Volvo Indy soon so can they tell via vida ?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Usually self adjust after a couple of hundred yards, never seen mine adjust on starting unless I have dramatically changed the load in the back in-between times.
