Default Will this Bluetooth/AUX adaptor work in a 2004 S40?

I have a 2004 S40 with a 6 cd changer and no aux port. The stereo has two options, AM/FM and CD. Will this adaptor work with my stereo?

I would guess no as it says "Choose Aux from your radio" in the listing. This looks like nothing more than a Bluetooth adapter for a system with an aux input.

I have '05 S40 and V50 cars and use a Bluetooth FM adapter in the power socket which works fine but there is a little background noise. I plan to replace this with an in-line Bluetooth FM modulator at the point between the aerial and MOST adapter when time allows.

I had to swap the 6 CD player as cds go crunched after a battery failure. The new one from a 2007 had an aux position on the CD button but I have no aux port on my 2005 S40. Fitted one of these works a dream. Now my phone works via car speakers too when plugged into the aux cable. I had to swap the radio display screen too.

So you swapped the head unit, display and buttons on the waterfall. Anything else? Would love to have this on my '05 V50.

Hi,

Do you know what model number your head unit is?

Assuming a it won't work on a HU-803 as it doesn't have an AUX button, but instead has a knob to turn for sources.
