Personally, I was never a fan of that colour. Same goes for the faded yellow with T5-Rs. Way too vivid for me. Would probably think different if I was 20 years younger
But ... ... if you're after a car with it's future value in mind, this certainly looks like the best option. |

I'm a big fan of saffron. I like that it stands out from all the other colours. Looks really good with grey wheels too.

When was Saffron available as a colour? Looking over this thread I feel I remember Saffron Volvos from a long time ago but looking around the web it seems the 850R came out later than the times I'm thinking of and not in Saffron to start with, probably I'm getting old and nostalgia is playing tricks with my memory

My memory is definitely playing tricks then, but in my defence even a 1998 car was 22 years ago

Around our way Saffron is the new, on trend, colour of choice for the community that used to favour white tranny vans to tow their twin axle movable homes, but now prefer Ford Rangers.
Volvo were obviously ahead of the curve.

It's the type of colour you would see on Novas/Fiestas/Chavliers on the covers of prestigious literature like Max Power.
