Today, I watched the rain pattering on the C70's bonnet

Bank Holiday living up to its usual expectations!

Could be worse, I drove my V70 to the city centre to go wedding suit shopping with my daughter and her bridesmaid who doesn't want to wear a dress

Saturday - clean and full polish using Chemical Guys Jet Seal. Seems to be good stuff. Doesn't look to be leaving any residue on the plastic trim.

Made it to 60000 miles

Reset the service light

Found the cause of an annoying squeak that's been annoying me for over a year

Gave it its first wash since last August

Thanks for the reply! Glad to hear it wasn’t just me.

Yesterday, I broke my handbrake lever. Completely snapped off in my hand so I've spent the last 2 days driving without a handbrake.
Today, bought the replacement from the scrapper to find it's came from a black interior car and mine is grey. If knows if it is possible to swap the handles across, please let me know?
Tomorrow, hopefully fitting the new handbrake lever to the car. After watching Robert DIY it doesn't look too hard.

Clutch throwout bearing went, then the DMF started rattling, so I sold it...for £2500 all faults declared. I made £1k profit over what I bought it for 3 years and 49000miles ago.

I enjoyed my time with it, learned tonnes and got to experience a dream car.

Keep an eye out in the sales section, have quite a few spares that I'll be selling soon... including US style indicators, and a set of five Perfos.

Sorry to see you leave us Cookeh, feels like you've been around as long as me! Hope you're staying in the Volvo family though
