Default Gearbox Fill spanner 9997301 for 1.6D 5 speed

I want to replace the 5 speed manual transmission oil on my 2010 C30 1.6D. I am aware that it is probably not designed to be a service item as these days they are 'for life' etc etc, but I want to do it as the car has 70,000 on it now. I have been on YouTube, and the filler plug is difficult to access with standard tools. However there is a Volvo service spanner with a part number 9997301, but of course it is a Dealer tool and I cannot find one listed anywhere on ebay.
I just wondered where I could buy one ?

I recently did a gearbox oil change on a v40 and that also required that special tool from Volvo. I managed it with a 1/2" drive long extension bar and a wobble bar. I would suggest just having a play around with standard tools and see if it's possible.

I would imagine buying that tool from Volvo would probably be more expensive than just getting the job done at a dealer.

You can use 24mm and wobbly. Check this https://www.pelicanparts.com/techart...uid_Change.htm

Just priced it up... £85 I'll give a wobbly a go for that price. Tool will only be used once or twice at most!
