Steering wheel bezel
Parked up in the supermarket car park at the weekend while my wife nipped in for a couple of things and thought I would give the dash and steering wheel a dust over. No problem wiping the dash but as I was wiping the steering wheel a chunk of the silver coating from the steering bezel peeled up through the cloth and cut my thumb. I was a little shocked at this and now I have a 3 - 4 cm sharp section raised from the bezel ready to get me again when I am not paying enough attention!
Is this part replaceable? cheers Dave

Did you wipe the Volvo blue sticker off too? (centre of bezel).
You can replace the blue Volvo sticker (Ebay or speak to your main dealer), but you need to clean the area properly for the adhesive to stick. I couldn’t find the metal Volvo bezel, but you can buy a sticker to place over it anyway (says Volvo in blue). You’ll need to trim the sharp edges though. If you mean the whole bezel & not just the Volvo sticker, then that might be a dealer only option.

No the rest of the wheel is fine. Just the sharp silver coating that has peeled back from the plastic bezel. I believe the part number is 30721889. Or 31377554 for the R-Design.

You might be able to find it online with those part numbers. I’d imagine your local dealer would have them in stock, or could get hold of one easily enough.
