Sadly, today the front spoiler got damaged and I have removed it as it is beyond repair.

New ones are available from a company called WR Composites for £40 plus p+p. They don't look too bad without one on!

I'll upload a photo or two tomorrow!

As I said yesterday, the spoiler got damaged yesterday when turning the car around on a friend's drive, just caught the bank! D'oh!

2 and a half years with me and I only scrape it or whatever but then I put it for sale and crack! It snapped on the Driver's corner and was hanging off! So I had to remove it completely as a spoiler with broken off bits looks worse than none at all!

I've been in contact with Wayne from WR Composites who makes these spoilers and it looks like he'll be able to supply me one this week and a friend of mine will be able to give me a hand painting it (he's a professional) and fitting it but it'll take a couple of weeks I imagine.

Here are a couple of pics with the spoiler removed...

Will keep everyone updated.

P.S. Sorry she's so dusty, been enjoying driving her.

Bad luck Dave - typical!

Hope you can get the spoiler sorted - although, as you say, she still looks good without it

It comes with great sadness but Poppy is now on her way to her new home with her new partner all the way up in Newcastle.

We were satisfied on the price we agreed on and I'm very satisfied with who she's gone to.

All the best Michael, enjoy her!

Well done Dave - pleased you found a good home for her. I am sure Michael will enjopy owning her; he must be quite an enthusiast if he was willing to come all the way across from Newcastle!

So, what's next then??

The chap was a thoroughly nice guy and I have no doubt that he'll continue to look after Poppy!

I'm not sure what's next, maybe a 480? lol

No.

I would like to get the V70 out, it looks really sorry for its self right now
But, it really wouldn't be a sensible option for me right now.

I guess I'll have to continue browsing eBay and what not!

Default 480 Celebration for sale.

Hi Davey.

I would very much appreciate a little advice from you concerning your recent experience.

I have a Celebration (No. 202) and I am also thinking of moving on. Mine has covered just 50,000 miles and is condition 1 in all respects. Original owner until March this year (elderly). I've just tidied and brought it back to virtually concourse.

Problem is the car is unique. Possibly the best there is. Without a doubt the best available.

How much do I ask for the car?

Any ideas?

Thanks and regards
Clive.
