Smile a how to for fixing pesky lights

Ok so we all know those two lights are a common problem and there is probably already a how to on here, but another one never hurt

So first thing is to gain access to the computer under the unit itself. unplug both plugs on the computer then remove all associated intake piping, plugs and airbox.

once that's done you will need a small flathead screwdriver or a 5 or 6mm socket and ratchet . there are only 4 bolts to get to on the underside of that black box.
once they are removed pull the black box straight down to eliminate damaging anything.

once that's out open the lid and you will see the computer board. the only joints that need fixing are the ones where the plug is.

do not try take the board out. it is gelled in and may well break.

once they are re soldered fitting is a reverse of removing.

Hope this helps

Just to add to the above: the proper socket for the bolts is an E5.

Sorry but it would probably help folk if you explained what this thread is about. What two lights? What "computer"?

Cheers.
