Default XC60 Safety Recall , Oil Level Rising

Into dealer tomorrow! Under certain conditions oil gets dilution from diesel raising Engine oil level , engine speed could be maintained or increase, engine may not stop when switched off , this means that the engine oil level is way over full and the engine oil / diesel mixture is in the combustion areas ,I have had this happen on a Van years ago and it scares the pants off you , if it's a manual gearbox you may be able to stop it by stalling perhaps ,but the van I had ripped the clutch out , Volovo says " Don't disconnect the battery" one assumes this won't stop the engine and from my experience it won't ,It's to do with the Engines on S80, V70, XC70 & XC60 with Paticulate Filters , Volvo have'nt got a cure , but they are going to upgrade the ECM software , and a supplement to the Handbook , in others words I assume the diesel could still top the engine oil up .

diesel getting into the engine oil? wouldn't this usually mean the engine is ****ed or improperly built?? hahaha al sounds like a farce to me.
