Your front spring is Dynamic (should have a blob of brown paint on them)

Everything else is standard, as is with all cars except factory lowered.

My 2005 T5 as the same factory setup as yours, albeit with different spring codes.
Thanks for that clarification. Having spent some time studying the full code that was the conclusion I came to - that I have standard comfort suspension with dynamic front springs.

Not sure why Volvo have so many different codes for the same spring but from what I have found, there are only 3 front springs for the C70 - comfort, dynamic and lowered dynamic. Two rear springs - comfort and lowered. 2/3 front sway bars, 1 = standard, 2 is stiffer with a larger diameter, which may be fitted to the factory lowered cars?? There is also a 2a but not sure what is different about that one or what car they were fitted to.

From what I can tell, all cars from a certain month(September?) in 2003 (04 year cars) were fitted with dynamic front springs. Prior to that, basic cars were fitted with the comfort spring, GT spec cars had comfort or dynamic as an option an T5s had dynamic or lowered dynamic as an option.

Also, despite what the brochures say, all cars had 295 mm rear break disks and 282 mm front drinks - not 302 mm!

Hello. What to choose for the best comfort (road bumpy absorption)?

225/45 17 91 W
225/45 17 94 W
225/45 17 91 Y
225/45 17 94 Y

Clearly referring to the same tire model.

Is important because today i would to order new 4 tyre. Target: comfort and endurance. For now my choice is Good Year Efficient Grip Performance 1 or Eagle F1

Hello people. Today I went to look for the original springs of my C70 Coupe. I measured them. Front: length 440mm, thickness 13mm. Rear: length 400mm, thickness: 12mm. They are identical to the new KYB K-Flex I bought (front KYB RA3789, rear KYB RC5923). I remember that I have Dynamic chassis. Same goes for Volvo factory shock absorbers (Sachs Made in Germany with some code or new Sachs Made in Germany currently installed). Unfortunately months ago I made the mistake of buying everything new, but the same as the original ones. If I could go back I would buy all of the C70 Cabriolet Confort Chassis USA / Canada (I have photographs of the chassis code plate). If I wanted to, I could buy everything now, but I don't want to spend over 1000 euros + labor. I think I'll leave it like that.

So that's where KYB got the spring sizes from, they are selling Coupe springs as suitable for the cabriolet- they're not!

The KYB K-FLEX springs shown are identical in size to the original Volvo C70 Dynamic Chassis springs.

So good for:

C70 Coupe Dynamic Chassis

C70 Cabriolet Dynamic Chassis

However in the majority of cases:

C70 Cabriolet 2.0T or 2.4T are Comfort Chassis, so KYB springs are no good.

C70 Cabriolet 2.0T-5 or 2.3T-5 are Dynamic Chassis, so KYB springs are fine.

I've mentioned this before on your post, C70 Cabriolet 2.3 T5 with Dynamic Chassis, springs are 460mm front and 430mm rear. I have a T5 cabriolet with factory Dynamic springs.

The KYB springs are not suitable for the cabriolet, unless you want a lowered very hard ride and very light and twitchy steering!
