May be worth phoning the breakers yards rather than just search online.

you would think so, but not one can source for a 2010 model onwards. i have tried every major factor, every known (to me) manufacturer and everyone refers it back to volvo themselves.
i cant even locate either of the CV joints.
centre bearing is no problem, and older models/manual is fine, but newish automatics are a no go.
ill let you know how the reconditioned one goes and the turnaround times.
thanks again.

Since it's a 2.4i, you could try searching on Canada/USA Volvo parts sites ... just saying.

your right, i did try swedishautoparts.com, but so far i cant tie the model down, i tried using my vin number, but the USA site does not recognise it, i will keep trying.
to those who have suggested breaker yards, not only can i not locate 1 model anywhere, i would be very wary of buying a driveshaft from a "scrapper" as it must have sustained accident damage for a 2010 onwards to be in a breakers yard. the words buyer beware come to mind.
i would only be happy with new or reconditioned.
