V60 D6/PHEV/Twin Engine SE Lux Nav
For sale is my much loved V60 D6, this really is a fantastic vehicle and now a bit of a "unicorn" in that it is a diesel hybrid. Volvo sold very few of them as although they are brilliant cars, they were outrageously expensive when new. You get the low running costs of an electric car while driving locally (in theory up to 30 miles electric only but realistically 20 - 24) and the efficiency, grunt, range and quick refuelling of the awesome 5 cylinder diesel engine on longer runs. Plus 4wd for when the going gets slippery and 215hp from the diesel engine and another 70hp from the electric motor if you want to drive a little more "enthusiastically".
83k miles Full main dealer service history (last serviced this week so has the full 12 months Volvo breakdown cover which goes with the vehicle) Lots of paperwork Free road tax No emissions testing on the MOT I believe you can also drive it for free in the congestion charge zone if you register it (the previous owner did, I didn't bother as I rarely if ever drive in London) I was told that it started life in the Volvo management fleet and was owned by a number of dealers until a friend of mine bought it. It has loads of options fitted, I've listed those that I can think of below: Adaptive cruise control Blind spot indicators Cross traffic alert Rain sensitive wipers Pop out child seats on the back seat Full set of clip in sun blinds Roll out load restraint blinds (fits where the dog guard would go for if you have a lot of stuff piled in the boot) Remote start of climate control via the app (note that the ability to do this while not plugged in was an option that very few seem to have fitted, this vehicle has had the option retrofitted by a Volvo main dealer at a vast cost by the previous owner) Automatic main beam (so it dips automatically when needed PLUS "blanks out" the high beam from oncoming traffic meaning you can drive on high beam without blinding people in front of you or oncoming traffic) "Bending" headlamps - i.e. when cornering they adjust the beam to see around the corner Sunroof Sensus navigation system/in car entertainment with premium Harman Kardon amplifier/speakers option and DAB radio. Gives you full integrated bluetooth plus will play just about anything including from memory cards/sticks, bluetooth audio, ipod. It even has a slot for playing some round disc shaped things...... Parking sensors front and rear Reversing camera If you know about these vehicles you will know the weak point was the original air conditioning compressors had a design flaw which caused them to fail. This vehicle had it replaced by Volvo at the end of 2020 with the updated unit. I would love to keep it but it was my commuting car and given both my wife and I are home based and no longer need to commute we need to cut down the fleet a little and just cannot justify the big car sitting here for the rare time we need it, even though every time I drive it it reminds me just how much nicer it is to drive than the others we have. I have been putting off selling it for about 18 months now! Location is just off M4 J15. Looking for £14k OVNO which is less than the similar vehicles on Autotrader. If you are looking for a D6, I really don't think you will find a better one. PM me for phone number. Any questions or if you want any additional pictures please ask. I was looking for one of these around Christmastime but to no avail so I ended up with a Mercedes 350e - a great car in itself but not a Volvo....
I test drove one of these at Rockingham and off the line it was very quick. At that price and with that spec I'll not even bother to wish you good luck with the sale as I'm certain it will be snapped up very quickly.

Hi, I’m interested but am in Manchester, also I’m self-isolating until next weekend so can’t get down to see the car for a week or so.
I’m also quite new here and haven’t posted much, so I can’t PM you. If you’d like to talk, please PM me if you can, maybe with an email address or mobile number? Thanks, Steve |

Now sold, took £13900 if anyone is interested. Actually I think I possibly undervalued it but basically took secondhand dealer prices on Autotrader and "We Buy Any Car" value and pitched it between the two. The successful sale went via Facebook Marketplace which provided you can put up with the idiots asking "whats your lowest price mate" without having even come to look at it seems to work well, sold my last two cars that way.
Now considering selling the Leaf and getting an XC40 recharge so may be back on the Volvo forums again! |

Sorry to bump this thread, but I can't PM until I've 30 posts!
I know you've sold your car (congrats!), but I'm wondering if you know how much it cost the previous owner to update the car to allow remote a/c without being plugged in? Or do you even know what the update is called? It's one of the biggest bugbears of mine about the car. That, and not being able to close the windows/sunroof from the app. Thanks. D6PHEV. |

I think someone said it was £420 + for remote (unplugged) preconditioning, but that could have been 5 years ago. Why not just contact a Volvo dealer with your reg and ask them to come back to you ?
