Does this sound like a new gearbox is required?
1 or 2 clunks then the message "Transmission Service Required". When I moved to tip mode I could see I was in 3rd but I was unable to change gear. Managed to get the few miles home. Had a play at home and found reverse wouldn't work and even with 'N' selected and indicated it was still in a gear.
Does this sound like anything else other than a new T6 gearbox? |

The yellow dipstick at the top right of the engine with ATF written on it. Have a look what colour it is.

Reddish brown is OK (red is perfect, black is very bad!). If you know someone with a code reader like the Autel, get the TCM codes reset which should get it out of limp home and see what it does. Once they are reset try driving in manual to see if you can figure out which gear if any is playing up.
