It can be a few things. Usually degraded transmission fluid can cause that. Its probably due a fluid change anyway. It may also need a transmission software update and a reset of the adaptions. You can’t do software updates yourself (only main dealer or a Volvo specialist can do that). As for the adaptions, it also requires VIDA diagnostics. A worn transmission mount can also cause jolting, but it would happen more frequently if that was the case.
Its very important that the correct fluid is used in the transmission. Your car takes AW-1 fluid known as JWS3324. Sadly, its not cheap. Do not use anything else.
