Default Forge dump valve on a 01 T4

Recently got a twin piston Forge DV kit fitted to the T4.

It sometimes tries to cut out when you put youre foot down on the clutch??

sometimes the revs sit fines and just some other times the drop too low but it manages to keep running.

Is there anything wrong that can be solved or is it just a case of remove the dumpvalve

Mine went straight on - no problems in 8+ months of ptccchh'age - sorry usage...fitted the blanking plate on firmly ? any leak in pressure may cause problems...

Clan - because it's noiser and gives an aural confirmation during gear changes - if not a noise for you just stick with the stock one...

Mine does this anyway.Even without a dumpvalve.I don't think it's a dumpvalve problem.

Make sure you haven't got an airleak where the dump valve was fitted and it may be worth checking and cleaning the idle air control valve too.

My 2.0t did this when i blanked the recirulation valve off so i put it back on and have the 2 running together and its been fine since,

I also found my intake pipe from inticooler to throttle housing was collapsing when dump valve was working, don't know if this was caused by valve or not but i put abit of tubing inside it to renforce it

Clean the throttle body and idle valve....
I don't think it's related to the dump valve.

On the exit pipe from the intercooler, there are three ports, one is for the intake air temp sensor, one for a MAP sensor (both with electrical connectors) and the third has a rubber hose on it which comes off and disappears towards the inlet manifold - follow that hose and it joins the IACV. If you remove the plastic cover for the throttle housing, you will see the IACV very clearly.
