Fixing faulty sunroof switch (Old label style)

Got my 960 recently, it was sold to me with a dead sunroof. Had a fiddle with it last night and realised the switch was the issue as it would sometimes open it and never close.

Removal:
Got the switch out as another member described by carefully pulling the trim that holds the button away from the dash starting from the climate controls end of the plastic (starting at the steering wheel is risky due to a big metal clip holding it in). Popped the switch out by pushing in a side clip with my thumb and pressing it from behind. Removed connector by lifting the little plastic tabs on top and bottom while pulling on connector, kind of seesaw'd it out.

Switch repair:
Here's a picture, it involves prying the housing over the snapped-in clips, sanding the contacts gently with a tiny bit of high grit sandpaper (I used one of the punched-out holes vacuum from a 1200 sanding disc folded in half). I also describe the circuit layout in case that helps anyone in future to validate it is the switch that's gone and not wiring or something.


Reassembly:
Reverse of removal but harder due to short cable length, patience was key.
