Default 1991 240 Torslanda For Sale £250

My 1991 red Torslanda estate is for sale due to house move abroad.Taxed until end of March and MOT until end of January. It runs well but may need new plugs as it is a bit lumpy until warm.
It has a grey/black interior in cloth, good Firestone tyres all round and a new spare on original Scorpius/Torslanda alloys.Mileage is a genuine 109k with a sheaf of bills, 3 previous owners this car is very reliable. No rust and a genuine Volvo towbar and fold down dog guard.
Earlier this year it has had a cambelt change, new water pump, radiator, discs and pads, caliper. The exhaust is good and it doesn't leak any oil.It is J reg and is ready to go at £250,no offers.I am near Manchester by M6,J19 and happy to help with delivery over Christmas.Pm me or phone Northwich 01606 557467.Thanks Mike

Could you post some pictures of the car and would it be possible to put a new MOT on it? But then advertise it for a bit more. It would greatly improve the sale prospects with pictures and a fresh mot? Just hope someone has the cash before Christmas! Good luck with the sale. James.

No don't scrap it I don't know the current scrap value but is it low? As my Sisters boyfriend used to collect cars to scrap. Thought he said 70 pounds a tonne a while ago? His favourite was an old volvo estate But it would be such a shame!! Another possible option is ebay? Come on someone must want a 240!! James

Ah... For £250??? Are you people serious?
I have owned two Tors. I'd snap your hand off if my situation was different.
If I had room I'd take it, great car. Good luck.

I was seriously considering this as it would make an ideal candidate for an LPG conversion, I guess at such a good price theres no time for "considering" anything... you just gotta appear with the money!

Just as well really... It would mean selling both of my 940s!
